Signing on: all riders to sign on 30 minutes before the event start time          

Entry Fees:   entries to be completed on an official entry form.

Adult: £20–Youth: £13

Closing date for entries: Friday 29th. Entry Penalty of £5 will be enforced for entries received after the announced closing date, entries will be accepted up to 6pm Saturday evening all entries received after the closing date will start first.

A competitor must be proved to be a) Welsh Birth, or Either parent of Welsh Birth, or  have been continuously resident in Wales for a period of not less than three years prior to the commencement of the Championship. Competitors must be a fully paid up member of an ACU Welsh club under the jurisdiction of the Welsh Federation. To be eligible for an Adult Championship a competitor must be at least 16 years of age.

No Stop rules apply to all Welsh Championship events

Welsh Solo Adult Championship Classes.

a; Championship

Made up of riders who are contesting the British Championship, or riders who have the ability to ride in this class.

b: Expert

Made up of riders who are grated experts in their Centre.

c: Master

Made up of riders who are grated Masters in their Centre, route made up of 50% of the Expert and 50% Clubman Course

d: Clubman.

Open to riders who are graded Clubman by their Centre.

e: Sportsman Plus.

Open to riders graded Sportsman Plus by their Centre,

Compete on this route made up of 50% of the Clubman and 50% Sportsman course.


f: Sportsman.

Open to riders grated Sportsman by their Centre.

All classes above open to ladies.

All the above classes also apply to Youth ACU Classes A.B.C.


Youth D and E Classes not eligible for this Championship.

Youth riders who wish to ride the championship course must have authorisation from their appropriate centre

All youth riders must ride the appropriate capacity machine in line with their age as set out in the TSR’s of the ACU regardless of which course they ride


The number of rounds will be published by the Welsh Motorcycle Federation prior to the first round. All rounds held less one will count towards the final championship positions.If a round is cancelled the event will only be rescheduled with the agreement of the Welsh Centre


Points will be awarded as follows

1st– 25 points, 2nd– 17, 3rd– 15, 4th– 13, 5th– 11, 6th– 10, 7th– 9, 8th– 8, 9th– 7, 10th– 6, 11th– 5, 12th– 4 , 13th– 3, 14th– 2 and 15th– 1

In an event of a tie on marks, positions will be decided using TSR 23

A rider can only score points in one class during the year

In the event of a tie on points at the end of the series the rider with the most first places will win, if that fails to resolve the tie then the most second places will be used and so on. If these all fail then the best position in the final round held will decide the winner


All organisers must send a full set of results as soon as possible to the championship Co-ordinator. Any amendments to results should be notified to the Co-ordinator as soon as possible. Results will be posted on welshtrials.com.


The interpretation of these rules rest with the Welsh Motorcycle Federation and does not abrogate its overall responsibility for the Championship Series and may at its absolute discretion withhold points for all or part of a round.
